The Coffee Nap

Caffeine addictions aside, most people drink coffee to stay awake. Especially at work when you’re in a static position for much of the day, it’s only normal that you begin to feel drowsy, particularly during that 2-4 PM slump. Well, help is on its way! There is this thing called the “Caffeine Nap” or “Coffee Nap.” Sounds peculiar, but it’s so simple and sounds utterly amazing.  All you do is drink a cup of coffee and immediately after consuming it you nap for 15-20 minutes. Do not sleep for more or less time, otherwise the effect will not be as powerful as intended. This short amount of sleep combined with the caffeine kicking in as soon as you wake up is said to be the most revitalizing nap of your life. Now, just make sure you check with the boss before snuggling under your desk mid-afternoon.
