Pod Perfect EZ-Cup vs. Regular K-Cup

CoffeeRocket.com has finally added the Pod Perfect EZ-Cup to the site. At first we were a bit skeptical about the product, but after seeing its success and testing it out for ourselves, we have absolutely nothing but great things to say! To be honest, the first cup of coffee I made using the EZ-Cup came out a bit weak and I didn’t know why. So, I hosted a little experiment in the breakroom. Turns out I wasn’t filling the EZ-Cup filter with enough coffee! Here’s how it went down…

I took 2 Caribou Colombia Coffee K-Cups and cut the foil off one of the tops. I then took the entirety of coffee from the open K-Cup and placed it into the filter laying inside the EZ-Cup. I brewed the EZ-Cup as I would any other K-Cup and set it aside.

Next I brewed the regular Caribou Colombia Coffee K-Cup in its natural form. Placing the cups side by side, we grabbed one of our resident coffee lovers and asked them to do a blind taste test.

He couldn’t tell the slightest difference in taste, body, acidity, aroma, aftertaste, or mouthfeel. Identical cups of coffee!

The experiment was a success and the Pod Perfect EZ-Cup proved itself just as we had hoped it would.

Be sure to remove your EZ-Cup when done brewing so that the next person doesn’t automatically toss it out, assuming it is a used K-Cup!
