Though this blog focuses primarily on bringing your attentions to the gourmet products that are out there, every once in awhile it’s nice to have something a little different. Most of these “other posts” are created because of links sent to me by friends or readers. Here is one that I found particularly interesting: A car that runs on coffee! Amazing! Though there are plenty of going-green-projects that are probably more deserving of press, it’s these kinds of articles that allow people to realize the endless possibilities. We’re only limited by our imaginations and lucky for these scientists from Manchester, we are able to witness something truly amazing. The graphic explains how it works, which is why it is such a large image. To break it down though, it takes about 56 shots of ground espresso to travel just one mile.
Now, I wonder if the stronger the coffee.. the faster the car? If that were the case then maybe these guys should try those new Green Mountain Revv K-cups (coming March 18) I’ve been raving about. That baby would FLY!
